Intro to Embroidery Workshop

Discover the art of embroidery in this beginner-friendly workshop! Whether you're brand new to hand sewing or looking for a refresher on embroidery basics, this class will guide you through essential stitches and help you start your own embroidered hoop piece. These skills can then be applied to visible mending, decorating clothes or fabric arts, or other creations.

🧵 What You’ll Learn & Do:

  • Learn and practice key stitches: back stitch, straight stitch, lazy daisy, and French knot.

  • Stitch either a sampler piece or a design that incorporates all the stitches learned.

  • Set up your hoop and begin creating your own take-home embroidery.

  • Receive step-by-step classroom instruction + one-on-one guidance.

  • Leave with a finished (or nearly finished) piece, plus the skills and tools to complete it at home!

🎨 Who Can Join:

  • Ages 13+ (Minors must attend with a guardian who also purchases a ticket.)

  • No prior experience needed—all materials provided!
