Love the Glowforge and want to learn more? Ready to bring your funkiest, most audacious crafting goals to life? Want all the cool acrylic? Our advanced laser class is for you! 

Make At Rosie’s Advanced Glowforge Workshop is a two-hour interactive workshop where you refine your design skills, learn to cut using the glowforge laser, and finish personalized jewelry or gifts. 

This class is for you if…

💥You already attended a laser-cut jewelry glowforge workshop at Make At Rosie and want to create some more advanced designs.

💥Are a maker who knows the ins-and-outs of vector-based design and want to see your graphic design creations brought to life on the glowforge.

💥Love the Glowforge and want to spend time sipping your favorite (BYO) beer and choosing the sparkliest acrylic to cut. 

During the workshop, we’ll create (or finalize) our designs, select materials, and teach you to send your design to the Glowforge. We’ll also provide a larger variety of materials to choose from, walk you through more advanced design creations, and more! 

FAQ

What if I’m a beginner?

This class is recommended for someone who has attended our beginner workshop OR has previous experience with vector-based designs and laser cutters. If that’s not you, check out our beginner class!

Do I need to bring anything?

Bring your charged laptop. If you do not have one, just contact us for accommodations.

Can I bring my own designs? 

Yes! You can start designing now! You can bring any SVG file, so fire up your Illustrator, Inkscape, etc and get creative.  You can also search the Glowforge Design store or Etsy for advanced files if you have a specific project in mind! 

Can I bring my own materials?

Sure! You can bring any laser-safe ⅛” thick acrylic or wood to use - some of our favorite places to buy Glowforge materials are:

Can I bring food and drinks?

Yes, please feel free to bring your own food and drinks. Alcohol is fine too, but drink responsibly and have a safe plan to get home.
